How to apply body oil after the shower
The best time to apply body oil is straight out of the shower, while skin is still slightly damp. Damp skin helps the oil spread evenly and absorb faster, so you get glow without grease. Pat dry until just barely damp — not dripping, not fully dry — then apply. This after-shower window is why body oil beats a heavy cream for a fast, even glow.
Wet skin or dry skin?
Slightly damp is the sweet spot. On soaking-wet skin the oil slides and won't grip; on fully dry skin it takes longer to absorb and can feel heavier. Barely-damp skin gives the fastest absorption and the most even, natural body glow.
Warm it, then press
Dispense a few drops into your palms, rub them together to warm the oil, and press it into skin rather than rubbing roughly. Focus on the high points where light naturally hits — collarbones, shoulders, shins, the fronts of the legs and the forearms. A little goes a long way. Body oil before or after moisturiser?
For everyday glow, the oil alone on damp skin is enough. For longer wear or very dry skin, moisturise first, let it absorb, then layer the oil on top to seal the glow in — oil goes last because it locks everything beneath it.
Let it set (so it won't transfer)
